What Is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone therapy for dogs is a gentle, natural approach that uses medical ozone to support skin and coat health. It can be offered as a relaxing spa treatment, combined with essential oils, promoting relaxation, shine, and coat quality. Therapeutically, ozone therapy stimulates oxygenation, circulation, and tissue regeneration, helping to regrow fur in dogs suffering from alopecia or skin disorders.
The ozone‑therapy treatment is performed as a bubbling spa bath, providing a gentle massage that stimulates circulation and promotes tissue oxygenation. Ozone diffused into the water works deep within the skin to cleanse it and support the body’s natural regeneration mechanisms. Adding carefully selected essential oils enhances the relaxing and therapeutic effect of the treatment while nourishing the skin and coat for a result that is both soothing and revitalizing.

Alopecia: Hair Restoration
Ozone therapy is especially developed for treating the consequences of alopecia in dogs. By enhancing tissue oxygenation, stimulating microcirculation, and providing cleansing properties, it helps reactivate hair follicles and promote hair regrowth. This treatment contributes to restoring skin balance, strengthening the skin, and gradually giving back a denser, healthier, and more resilient coat.
Spa relaxation, cleaning for healthy skin, coat beauty
Ozone therapy in its spa version provides a genuine moment of relaxation for the dog, helping reduce stress and promote overall well‑being. It delivers a gentle yet thorough cleanse, sanitising the skin, removing impurities, and assisting in rebalancing the scalp. This treatment also enhances coat beauty, making the fur softer, shinier, and visibly healthier.
The effects of ozone therapy
Skin hygiene
Ozone has a strong oxidizing power that can help reduce bacterial, viral, and fungal loads on tissues or skin. This promotes the regrowth of new hair.
Improvement of tissue oxygenation
By stimulating local circulation and facilitating the use of oxygen by cells, ozone can help promote tissue repair in certain situations.
Anti‑inflammatory Effect
Ozone can help diminish certain inflammatory processes and modulate the immune system’s response, which explains its use in various inflammatory or chronic conditions.
Skin Regeneration through Essential Oils
Our essential‑oil blend is specifically formulated to support skin regeneration and promote hair regrowth.

Questions/Answers Alopecia Treatment
Although we can advise you on good practices regarding alopecia, our role is not to diagnose or treat the underlying causes because we are not veterinarians. We always recommend initially consulting your veterinarian to ensure that a proper treatment is prescribed once the cause is identified. Our role is to help, support, and encourage the dog to regain a uniform, healthy coat through the dermatological ozone‑therapy treatment. We work closely with local vets from switzerland to improve hair growth where mainstream medication is ineffective.
Each dog is unique and responds differently to treatment. We can generally stop the progression of alopecia and encourage new hair growth when work is done at the same time to address the underlying cause of the alopecia. To determine whether the dog is responding favorably to the treatment, approximately 10 sessions are required.
Alopecia is a profound change in the coat that can be reversed (hair regrowth) but requires patience. We generally recommend 10 sessions—one every two weeks—to see the first improvements. We’ll determine together the treatment frequency based on the alopecia’s progression.
We take care of drying and detangling your dog. Dogs with alopecia naturally have very little coat, which is why we generally don’t perform a proper haircut—so as not to further destabilize the hair balance.
Many come to us because they have already treated their dog without success. Alopecia can have many different causes, and sometimes they cannot be identified even by a veterinarian. Ozone therapy is not a miracle cure, and, like your vet, we cannot guarantee a result. However, we have numerous cases where we have helped dogs whose exact cause of alopecia was unknown, at varying rates, to strengthen their coat and achieve a more uniform appearance. We generally recommend trying ten sessions to see whether ozone therapy yields results for your dog.
